Impact Summary
Viz for Social Good is a platform for nonprofit organizations to receive assistance in visualizing data. Volunteers from all over the world process, analyze, and visualize the data and submit visualizations to help the organization. The November 2020 project was to visualize the impact of the platform itself and encourage nonprofits and volunteers to connect.
For this task I chose to display the missions of the participating organizations in a word cloud to show their similarities and differences. This is followed by a map indicating the locations of of volunteers providing support to nonprofits around the world. Example products are shown at the end of the infographic.
